Weird Wacky Wednesday

I absolutely love Wednesday...this is the day we get to be with our Youth and have fun and get refreshed for the rest of the week. I thought it would be fun to also present an unusual, weird and wacky creative item too. Recently I have been fascinated with alien stuff...it started when I saw Pottery Barn's Alien Halloween Costume and said oh yes...this was made for my son!
Then we have been watching over and over and OVER...Planet 51. So today at lunch I decided to search for unique and cool alien crafts on my favorite website *PUNKY Plug* www.etsy.com and look what I found: http://www.etsy.com/listing/53925145/kester-and-dexter-adopt-an-alien

This seller really has a unique and wacky talent. It is so cute because each Alien comes with their own birth certificate and is unique! So if your Wednesday isn't going to hot let this post be an inspiration for you to just cut loose and get weird, wacky and PUNKY.

Pencil me in they say!

Just wanted to post my favorite little client using his pencil...I was so hoping he was writing how much he loves me...LOL! This is my gorgeous little Godson using his pencil in the car! So excited about these pencils. I loved making them for all the special little ones in my life. I now get the pleasure of giving some school spirit to 23 Highschool Cheerleaders with these pencils. So don't forget to pencil me in when you need something crafty and punky spunky made! Happy Sunday!

Easy Craft of Love

Great advice turned into a creative idea equals MUCH FUN! So the past week has been filled with much anxiety over my Lil Katalina starting her first MDO program. I can remember when she was still brewing in my belly! I was speaking to a GREAT friend and I was telling all my fears about Katalina being off at school...was she going to eat her lunch (she didn't by the way...lol...well she did eat the JELLO), was she going to make friends, would she miss me. That was a huge worry...what if she missed me and I wasn't there...would she be disappointed or feel abandoned. Well this friend gave me such a cute idea...she told me to give her something special (a pencil or notebook) so that when she did miss me she could just hold onto that pencil and know that I was thinking of her. Now isn't that just the GREATEST mommy advice. Well when she told me that I immediately began thinking about what I could do. Katalina loves to craft with me...it is our special time together. So I took a regular #2 pencil and wrapped it with paper, added some ribbon and gave it a tag to remind her that me and daddy loved her so much. In the morning she went BANANAS over the pencil and the teacher said she requested it once. Throughout the first day I just kept telling myself...man maybe I needed the special pencil. To all you moms and little ones either starting school or going back to school...may God give you peace throughout the day knowing that your children are protected and loved by their educators, may God keep angels around our little ones and may God bless you and your family!

Rock On!

I really do love the "ROCK STAR" theme for parties...girl or boy. There is so much out there that can play into this theme. This baby shower started with a great invitation from *PUNKY Plug:1* www.tinyprints.com and has blossomed into a ROCKIN baby shower! This client will also be adding a great touch to the top of this diaper cake...Pink Chuck Taylors! Another thing I like to do with my diaper cake orders is *PUNKY Plug:2* present it in a special way. For instance by adding a great cake stand. For this cake I will also give the client a GIANT close pin to set up next to the cake that will hold an extra invitation since the cake matches the invite. So in other words, don't just think about making a great product but also PRESENTING a great product! Here is another pointer *Punky Plug:3*...add something on the cake that the client can use for later use...for instance on this cake the 3 bows are actual bows made that the sweet baby girl can wear once she arrives! This is by far my favorite Diaper Cake! Cheers to a Rocked out Baby Shower!

*PUNKY Plug*...definition: A great vendor I use a lot or a helpful party planning tip I use!

Kinley Nichole Smith update!

Baby Smith arrived...Kinley Nichole Smith...she is just as sweet and precious as her mommy. She had to stay at the hospital for a while due to fever but again just like her mommy...true fighter. I can't wait until Natalie gets her home so I can come over and love on her more. When I went to visit her in the hospital it was great....I walked in and Natalie said...great you are here...can you change her diaper...and I did with much JOY! Thank you to everyone who helped lift this sweet baby up in prayer!
